Oh yeh, here's another "gotcha". The login page uses "http" (insecure), not https to log you in. I sent them an email about this a while back and typically got no response.

Not when you've got a home loan and have the money sitting in their trust account rather than in your home loan reducing interest on the loan when you're not down! You should be able to put the money across the day after, should your bet go against substantially. I'd sign something to keep the...

$20 max a tick?! True, not enough. If I understand what I was told today, from next Mon their competitor IGIndex will most likely close positions if you don't have the money in your account without an opportunity to pay the margin (and won't be calling even for you to pay it).

Ditto, I'm after a cheaper online broker for trading US shares as ComSec are too pricey for that (they're reasonable for local shares).

Hmm,seems to be a lot of people buying up today. Dropped a bit initally and now it's up on y'day's price. Changed by apx 36% up to 9.8c. Hope we've seen the worst of it in recent days!
