TSLA - Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ)

At best it is the average of what other car companies are valued at over a cycle, which from memory is ~ 1x revenue, maybe a bit of a premium for old times sake. However, reflexivity works in both directions, so I think the downside might get uglier than that.

TSLA - Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ)

It's a giant bubble deflating, plenty of people are going to be left holding bags, interesting to witness one of the great stock manias and the effect social media has on it all.

    GLB - Globe International

Any opinions / info on the spill at the AGM? Trying to understand who voted against the remuneration as the brothers own 68 % of the co. and the vote was 56 % against adoption. Keen on the FXD brand and potential for overseas growth but less keen on the board setup, could be more professional...

    AGL - AGL Energy

How realistic are these general claims of meeting targets, turning off coal, running off full renewables etc in Oz? I've read a couple of books by Vaclav Smil and Bjorn Lomborg who make seemingly well reasoned arguments that its possible but way under costed and run into other problems, highly...

    RFA - Rare Foods Australia

Only just found, interesting but the same old ag story - need for cap ex. and comes down to how good is management at executing / share holder orientated. Plenty of demand for sustainable seafood and oz has plenty of coast line and good reputation in agriculture (land and sea). quick comparisons...

KPG - Kelly Partners Group Holdings

A decent result for the FY. Not sure I'll buy more yet, but for me they are fairly priced and depending on how you define their TAM there is a decent amount of growth possible so buying at a bit of a premium might be ok, still only a ~ $54 m MC, so probably a bit under the radar, if they can...

    That's my feeling too.

    XRF - XRF Scientific

Had a good run in the last 6 months. Here's hoping the orders have remained strong and new facilities are running well. I'm still undecided as to whether the upgraded facilities were genuine expansion or just normal cap ex required to stay competitive, but I think its been well run and...

    CCP - Credit Corp Group

Seemed to be getting expensive anyway. Steady as she goes, as usual. Good to see scale being reached in the US and is now profitable, has been a measured approach to that market and good to see the progress. could be a good contributor to profits over the next 5-10 yrs. @galumay I did a...

    APT - Afterpay Limited

According to the FY18 report and HY19 presentation they added 5500 merchants in 6 months, that's ~40/day. That's the ASX300 and FTSE 250 in two weeks (assuming 5 day weeks), they can't all be major retailers....

    APT - Afterpay Limited

Could it also be fake retailers? A good way to wash funds from stolen credit cards, especially is you only need 25% down as a new customer in the first two weeks.

Try harder, your capital is at risk.

    CCP - Credit Corp Group

So you want the shorts to make an argument with fewer pages and based on less evidence? Kind of catch-22 reasoning there. They make some interesting arguments, some of the evidence appears a little flimsy (internet opinions - can always find dissenters on the internet) but kind of hard to...

    SRX - Sirtex Medical

thanks. geez its gained traction quickly http://www.otsuka.com/en/financial/pdf.php?financial=454 any opinions on the reclassification by NCCN of SIR-spheres to category 2A? or are 2A/2B/3 neither here or there? (within reason)

    SRX - Sirtex Medical

a quick search suggests: Regorafenib (Bayer) Lonsurf (aka tipiracil from Taiho) Approved in 2012 and 2015 respectively but a couple of studies released earlier this year. Add weight to the line in the report about clinicians waiting for OS data from SIRFLOX et al, as if the above two were...
