Re: ALP Legislates on Farting Can't complain about trying to reduce methane emissions, but I concerned about how such emissions are measured. Campbell Newman would not allow it, unless they were NP members of Parliament, but do we have bureaucrats visiting farms with methane measuring devices...

I have been trying to find out which stocks offer higher dividend returns. Telstra is one I know of. can anyone point me in the right direction to how I can locate which stocks offer a dividend return.

Thanks for the reply. Read the links - have a better understanding now. People were telling me that the resource goes overseas to the parent company with no income in return. I was sure this could not be the case. No doubt they tax minimise the deal!!

Can someone help me get my head around this: When a company sells a product overseas they receive payment - simple. What happens when an overseas company exports a product, say coal, overseas to its parent company who uses this product to produce energy or whatever? Is there a payment at market...

PRR hits 0.19 - significant buying continues. Does anyone know if a date has been set for the October announcement? Appears like quite a few people are banking on a positive announcement.

pla roars into third place.....hooray for me! I actually bought this stock at 77c so my gain today gives me great joy. Go you good thing!

10% jump today.....not bad considering the current market. Bought back in at .079. Long way off my original 77c lol but I hopefully can claw a little back with some trading. Not a trader but hoping to learn from my mistakes here.

Amazing how we tend to view past Treasurers with rose-coloured glasses. Costello was out by billions every year in his budget estimates. Then he put the embarassingly large surpluses back into the economy in the form of tax cuts and middle-class welfare. Shame he didn't invest it in...
