Starting this as a fun thread about how we see things in our day to day life through the lenses of the stock market.

    I'll kick it off...
When you're looking for car number plates with code of stocks that you are trading.

    Haha great.

My one the other day was at the gym on the exercise bike. A bar chart on the display of my intensity, each bar being 15 second intervals.
I had about 4 or 5 at the same high and then I pushed myself harder just to get a breakout of a tight range.

Or when your completely lost when they just quote the name of the company (and not their codes).

    Then you short yourself?!

    :xyxthumbs

I do think alot of things in risk/reward these days in everyday life.

Like my wife wanted to check if my 2 year old girl has fallen asleep in her room. I told her the risk of waking her up (and having to get her back to sleep) was far greater than the reward of knowing that she's asleep... I wasn't sure my wife fully appreciated the wisdom behind it, judging by her frown.

When you start looking for tradeable patterns in charts of things which have nothing to do with shares. Eg charts of temperature or rainfall.
