This is a junk food free zone for vegan food cooked from scratch. Years ago I became a vegan/vegetarian for health reasons. (Sadly it made me worse and I had to abandon it).
During that time I made heaps of wonderful vegan food, so here is a place to add your best home cooked from scratch vegan recipes. No need to starve or go without great food if you are eating vegan. No need to eat junk frankenfoods, eat healthy and hearty natural food.

Sweet Potato Kale and Quinoa Fritters
(There is coconut yoghurt which can be substituted for the dressing or sweet chilli sauce is lovely)

Basically I can't eat any starches as I found out after years of trial and error. I can only eat non-starchy vegetables and meat.

why call something meatloaf if it has no meat? why not be proud and call it by whatever its proper name is (or make up a name), rather than hide behind a name that it is not. (like a vege-burger is not a vege-hamburger)

bit like almond milk - wtf.

Excellent question HelloU, maybe they just can't give up meat in their minds! However, I don't think there is any ham in a hamburger either. :)

However, thinking about it meat doesn't necessarily mean animal flesh...

    meat
    (mēt)n.
    1. The edible flesh of animals, especially that of mammals as opposed to that of fish or poultry.
    2. The edible part, as of a piece of fruit or a nut.
    3. The essence, substance, or gist: the meat of the editorial.
    4. Slang Something that one enjoys or excels in; a forte: Tennis is his meat.

    yep
    beef pattie ....from hamburg (pre-bombing)
speaking of meat, its a weird world as i quoted some current 2018/19 budget expenditure figures in another thread and the response from one member was "Don't tell me... free penis extensions ? :)" ...... so i said nothing.
