As promised a while ago......

I concede IAG is a bit of a dip.

Will up date every week if I can.

None are recommendations just a stab at possibly under valued stocks

For the sake of this thread.
Took Profits (IAG & PNV) and keeping powder dry for next falling knife.
Really only been looking at my stocks and have'nt been searching so much. S32 was close but.

(Actually didn't in real life and loaded up on JDO a few weeks ago.)

Patients is not so much a problem. If anything, I am to Slow at seizing opportunities.
Watchful is the issue.
Still might make some theoretical calls.

almost instinct for me , so YES i get some cuts and the occasional knife in the foot , but the winners have been worth the risks ( SO FAR )

I bought an index type ETF on Fridays dip, couldn't decide on individual bottoms.
hopefully without overstretching the budget ( so left yourself some reserve cash )

that is an interesting debate .. do you buy some now and get some income or wait for that awesome price ( which might never come )

that question complicates if you participate in the DRP ( often in a good way )

on the rare event i actually buy into the ( cycle ) bottom i have often been left with a part-filled order ( so the brokerage takes the advantage out of the low price , especially when the bots are playing against you )

you might consider a lower target for WBC there is no Gail Kelly now , to whip out the charm offensive

i bought some @ $18.00 and $16.60 in 2020

good luck

In 2020 I mainly traded ANZ (bottom Picking). Bought and sold quite a few times till my last sale @21. They kept going upwards from then. Still hold a historical amount of WBC.

Like Dr Bourses WDS predictions I doubt WBC and WDS will reach there.
Big recession and who knows?

Rainy outside so I thought I'd update the "Theory" bottom picking trading thread.

The first toe dip into ANN was a bit premature. Anything over $24 without momentum and the first one goes.
Got that uncomfortable total value if there is the correction i keep thinking will happen.

Sort of forgot this for a while.
Missed out on averaging down KCN and TYR.

Got rid of ANN today. Normally I'd just get rid of the first lot but not being confident and for the exercise thought I'd reduce my exposure to the Market.
Use some of the freed up $$$ on averaging down JDO.

Please note this is just a theory on paper experiment.

Gonna drop this thread now as I am talking to myself.
yeah, it's tricky. But, What's worse, radio silence, people reading and not commenting, OR hijacked by sidetrack chatter?
Might pick it up at years end to evaluate what would of happened if I just held it all.
that would be interesting to see.

Safe investing,

just because you hold shares i haven't bought ( or have abandoned ) doesn't mean i have cancelled you
