this is the second 'western' country on the brink of revolution that hasnt made the 'mainstream' media news at all.

the first was iceland's rejection of corrupt international banking practices and their rejection of 'austerity measures' to be shouldered by the people to bail out the corrupt entities that caused the financial chaos in first place (which was never reported by MSM)....

and now Sicilys productive middle class is in revolt against very similar govt/banking/corporate corruption/collusion that has lead to 'austerity' pain for the people, rather than the 'elites' who caused the problems in the first place...

again not reported on by the mainstream news services.... thoughts anyone?

my hope is that this will hopefully lead to at least some of the corrupt corporate pirates (i'm looking @ you G/S!!) whose actions helped cause all this global ecomomic hardship being held accountable, stripped of their ill-gotten gains and tried for fraud like the common gangsters that they really are!:2twocents

stated policies of the pitchfork revolt:

The arrest of all corrupt politicians

Reduction in the number of Parliamentarians

Removal of the provincial bureaucracy (local crooks), as most of these politicians have been there for over forty years

Drastic cuts in the salaries and privileges of Parliamentarians and Senators

Restricting politicians to only two terms in office

sounds good to me!
