RSG - Resolute Mining

Whoever grabbed the knife might be bleeding a bit now and have let go.

What a disaster.

Read the update twice, nad was little wiser.
So all the outstanding claims are settled.
Until the ba$tard$ make up some new claims that is.
Still hanging in in the hope that this little incident will be forgotten.

Interesting that part of the Protocol is to "maintain the safety of all Company employees". So, are they going to provide security at the mine? Bodyguards for the CEO? Or, just not take anyone hostage again?

Russia's Wagner to provide security ...

Looks like the market isn't really convinced that the US$160m (250 Aus) ransom is the end of RSGs problems. $250m off their MC from just before the incident means there's a few hundred mil discounted from their previous value.

A lot of confidence has been lost.

Good evening

Great day for Gold today (11/04/25) ... Neat 3.41% SP gain.

Nice.

RSG's Sustainability Report is out and at 103 pages it's almost as long as their last ore reserve and resource statement.

I'm sure this amount of work will prevent their new CEO from being taken prisoner and held for ransom this FY. Especially their 'Climate Change Financial Modelling' section which the Junta will be taking particular interest in.

If you grabbed the knife here and held out for a bit you'd probably be doing OK. Major risk with some reward, so far.

And, looks like they've decided to spread the risk and not rely on Syama so much but it will still be 60% of their portfolio going forward.

Damn, missed this news. I'd been avoiding RSG due to Sov risk concerns (Mali). This purchase lessens the sov risk impact overall and improves RSG's outlook considerably.

Edit: In the deal it's mentioned that RSG will transfer it's Guinea exploration leases to AshantiGold. I wonder if any of these leases have been revoked by the Guinean Gov't recently. RSG may have to pay more money.

There's also mention of a cap raising. I may wait for this before making my decision to buy.

Gee, Guinea are pretty loose with these exploration permits and communication with the relevant companies.

No update since this:

It would have been courageous to buy this under 40c when it crashed after the CEO was taken hostage, but it's all about risk/reward I guess.

This missionary went up 9.6% today closing on a high of 0.69. Some wild moves recently. The RSI divergence says NO. It may be for the sky or the pot ... IF it can get past 0.69 with volume it may be a goer.
