Osmond Resources is an early-stage mineral exploration and development company focused on gold and base metals discoveries within projects located in South Australia and Victoria. The Company has secured agreements in respect of several tenements that are considered highly prospective for gold, copper, nickel, and rare earth elements (REE) with Fowler Resources Pty Ltd and with Kimba Resources Pty Ltd.

The Company’s Projects are focused on exploration for gold, nickel, copper, and rare earth elements (REE) within the highly prospective Fowler Domain and Nuyts Domain, both within the Gawler Craton in South Australia as well as western Victoria. Currently, the Company has interests in 5 Projects:

Yumbarra Project

South Australia (EL6417)
  • Located in the western Eyre Peninsula region of South Australia within the Nuyts Domain of the Gawler Craton
  • Contains a highly magnetic feature that is interpreted as a layered ultramafic intrusive
  • Limited historical exploration undertaken on the Tenement, with the focus of past exploration on nickel and mineral sands

Fowler Project

South Australia (EL6603 & EL6604)
  • Two adjoining tenements located on the eastern margin of the Fowler Domain in the far west of South Australia
  • Have potential for Ni/Cu and Au mineralisation;
  • Tenements are very remote and covered by sand dune fields, and as a result, the region has seen little exploration apart from regional scale mineral sand drilling focussing on the cover

Coorabie Shear Zone Project

South Australia (EL6692)
  • Located on the eastern margin of the Fowler Domain in the far west of South Australia and is contiguous with the Fowler Tenements
  • The area is prospective for nickel, copper and gold
  • A deep mantle tapping structure has been identified in a regional Magnetotellurics (MT) survey

Tallacootra Project

South Australia (EL6615)
  • Located on the western margin of the Fowler Domain in the far west of South Australia
  • Has potential for Ni/Cu and Au mineralisation
  • Limited modern exploration in the region due to prevailing cover and until recently, limited airborne geophysics

Sandford Project

Victoria (EL6958)
  • Located in western Victoria, approximately 350km west of Melbourne
  • Prospective for gold and base metals (copper, lead, silver, and zinc), as well as ionic REE clays and heavy mineral sands
  • Historic exploration predominantly focused on greenstone sequences interpreted to be associated with identified base metal and nickel occurrences

It is anticipated that OSM will list on the ASX during April 2022.

Cash reserves as at 30 September 2022 of $4.251m

• Interpretation of existing geophysics data over South Australian projects identified emerging targets
• Reprocessing and interpretation of historical geophysical data identified multiple prospective AEM conductors in the core of the Yumbarra layered ultramafic intrusive, targeting nickel
• At Yumbarra a helicopter supported ground based gravity program over the AEM targets has been designed and awaiting permitting
• At the nearby Fowler Project interpretation of the existing geophysical data and design of a gravity survey is underway
• A number of new project opportunities have been presented to the Company and continue to be evaluated

Sandford Project, western Victoria
• All soil samples have been analysed with the handheld XRF; samples selected for more definitive laboratory assay
• Rare Earth Element, Vanadium/Cobalt and Zinc anomalism identified within the project area
• Zone of anomalous Rare Earth Elements across an approximately 18km x 4km area, with potential to expand around other smaller anomalous zones adjacent to larger central zone
