This month there was one entrant who did not post in the thread of their competition entry in accordance with the competition rules: @embryo. If @embryo posts in the STX thread in the next 48 hours I will add them to the March competition.

Could all qualifying entrants please check their entry and entry price and report any errors to me in this thread.

Keep track of the results here: ASF Stock Competition Leaderboard

Feel free to discuss the competition in this thread as the month progresses.

All the usual suspects are positive. Give the rest of us ordinary punters a go ..

for what has been a poor first week in March for the ASX - Monday was up but the rest of the week in falling over mode - our little battlers have done quite well

The current competition has 31 entries. There are 15 positive tips, 15 negative tips and 1 break-even tip.

As we head into to the second week my brave little nugget CRS is just in with that merry band, the unwashed, and not in positive territory. For reasons of space I have only put the first 20 entries in.

The top three @greggles @Iggy_Pop and @IvoryWolf are well known for being in the leaders' positions. The usual suspects follow them down to the end of positive territory. The comp finishes on the 28th March which leaves 14 trading days unless there are some holidays occurring of which I am unaware. Much can happen between now and then.

Good fortune to all.

The competition is quite exciting atm. It is evenly divided between the haves and the have-nots and for some accident of fate I find myself in the latter. It is early days yet, the first half of this month seems to have gone quite slowly for me and there are 11 trading days left to the end of the month.

It will be extremely interesting to see how the standings change next week. Already since Monday @IvoryWolf has gone from 3rd to 21st with BSX and @peter2 from 20th to 4th with AGR.

@mullokintyre , @greggles and @Iggy_Pop are in the top spot, 2nd and 3rd with STN, GG8 and NDU respectively.

Good fortune to all competitors.

I remember the days of teasing and mocking that evil Mr. QLD Frog, but now that he's gone, there just seems to be no reason to smile about this.

And as I sit here with the ability to feel pleasure having been stripped away from me, perhaps forever, in this darkest of moments it dawns upon me. The evil Mr. Frog has in his cruel, twisted wisdom, harmed me in the most malicious possible way; I realise his true motive for withdrawing from the monthly competitions... without the ability to mock and dominate my enemy, with no possible chance of besting my nemesis, I am defeated. He has cleverly won by removing from me any hope of experiencing joy, even in victory against all others, before the competition even begins. Or perhaps my voodoo dolls were too effective and I have become the master of my own demise, torment and descent into the abyss of nothingness.

The above post probably made little sense without the scoreboard. Not that this makes it any less insane, I guess. There was a glitch which seems to prevent me from posting images from the laptop, but it seems to work from the phone.

Not sure why the frog isn't in the monthly's but it's only 18 Mar so might be too early to be claiming victories, or whatever.

Haha, obviously I was being a little silly. I used to have fun competing along the way through the month. Definitely not claiming any victories, it was more a joke about even when coming first I'm not beating QLD Frog. Maybe the joke is too old to be understood.

As for the competition as it actually functions, I may be the favourite while in the top spot but definitely with more than a week to go it's more likely that someone else will beat me. Definitely not claiming any sort of victory, just jokingly saying that there is no hope of victory for me even if I do come first.

Jokes aside though (which is probably a good idea since my sense of humour is clearly on the wrong wavelength), another nice announcement from DEL today which the market has liked. The news today and yesterday was actually an unexpected bonus which itself arguably adds about as much value to the company as the current market cap. Great company to look into if anyone is keen to find a potential huge return. I think I'll just lock it in for the next two years of monthly competitions and win them all... sorry, I should have learned by now that my sense of humour is going to fall flat, but if one day one person finds something amusing, it will have all been worthwhile.
