What is it with these quasi and former government owned organisations, they all seem to attract complete tossers to senior positions and then try to improve their lack of ability by throwing more money at them while the share price continues to fall, Telstra and Qantas seem to stand out in this area.
They then give them a bonus when they leave... unbelievable.

Dixon screwed over the engineers, he employed cheap contract companies to do maintenance and sent the remaining aircraft overseas for major checks.

We all know the outcomes that have being achieved by those decisions but it still goes on.
Cathay, Singapore, Etihad and Emirates are the winners from Qantas getting their name in the media at regular intervals for all the wrong reasons.
