    Maybe look under its Market Capitalisation. Those under $1Billion may fit that range.

    Easy: Scan the market for Share price min $1 and max $10.
    If your current program won't do that properly, change programs. I know of at least two that definitely do it, and they do it well and quickly.

    it should be much better to use a screener.

    They do not have such Scanner or screener.

    or trade Aussie stocks with Open Markets or D2MX as your brokers. Their market scanners are excellent - and free for frequent traders.
