Very nice thoughts but as soon as it all calms down people will quickly go back to their old ways.

Next time our Asian friends try out a new bug we will all be hoarding toilet paper again.

For the great majority, looking after number one will always be top priority or should that be number twos ?

Its a very constructive ideal. It would be great/amazing if we could go this way. Probably solve a few other problems on the way.

Trouble is... Our current economic system can't work with a less materialistic practical co-operative society. Maybe we can't go back to the way we were ?

That is a very wise construct on my post @basilio

I find these thoughts as calming as drawing lines on charts and working out bottoms. So to add some humour.

So. Four things to stay calm and carry on.

    1. Calm thoughts.
    2. Drawing lines on charts.
    3. Female bottoms.
    4. Friends to talk with who have a sense of whimsy and humour.

    Stay safe, Comrade.

    Dear Mr? GG...
This current period will deny the masses of puerile distraction. The focus now at least in supply of essentials. Some would contest that distraction is the essence of the control that has manifested in more than a few western distraction. Distraction from that that is important.

On the eve of the Sari Club bombing in Bali, in an imposed circumstance, I over heard a commercial Radio jockey in Sydney, imploring his listeners to ring in and tell him..
" If Barbie could speak what do you think she would say"...
Till this moment I've never had an answer to this idiocy; Then as I typed this Barbie's words came to me ...
" If I was in the studio with you? I'd strangle every last word and breath from you and feel no remorse"

    Stay at home if possible.

Keep distance from others if out.

Shakespeare wrote Macbeth and King Lear when under quarantine. Newton invented calculus.

Standing on the shoulders of giants.

Its most familiar expression in English is by Isaac Newton in 1675: "If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants."
