Hello Stake Broker

Investigated using them about a year ago or so but they had issues with their platform/app according to reviews. An update had rendered it useless etc.

Interested to know how you get on with it. My thoughts were back then to let time run it's course and let them fix teething issues. Expect enough time has passed by now.

yeah i got recommended by a mate who has been using past year and says its pretty good/low cost. but he uses CMC for his USA trades, as stake asks for too much paperwork or something for USA stocks if you buy through them.

i'll probably only start using it towards the end of the year as I believe global recession just started and stocks will be much cheaper in 6months time. But just lining things up now :D

I'm looking in to using them now as well. $3 per trade is super cheap, and much better than the two brokers I am currently using (Saxo and Commsec). Would be very glad to here any other reviews from people using it.

Noticed Comsecc have reduced fees in lower value trades and have a start up offer of 10 free trades.
Trades up to $1000 are now $5, trades $1k to $3k are now $10 if settled to required conditions account etc
Not bad from a biggie, trying to keep up with the Jones's

I am still using them. I also noticed the fees is lower now, couple of times, I had to do a recheck on the fee when doing a trade.

Me also Rabbito though i haven't had any trades 3k or under to take benefit of the discount. Perhaps I should
Gone for the night

Just an update if anyone is interested. Easiest setup out of any of the brokers I have used, platform is good, fast executions. I use their smsf option $999/year and they do everything for you. Great and fast communication in the setup process. Did a 100k trade today and only cost $10 coms.
One con if you need to do a trade over 250k you will have to break it up into separate orders as 250k is max trade size. For got to mention this is all based on stuff listed on the asx. You want to trade US fees can get pretty hefty there. Best to stick to IB or that for overseas stuff.
