A recent ad by Gillette which I will not post as it will only encourage simpering feminists and their camp followers has caused me outrage.

It has also caused millions of men worldwide outrage.

It accuses men of being responsible for all the world's ills.

    What a bunch of muppets.

My advise is avoid Gillette products.

OK, avoiding Gillette products, but you made me go look for the ad GG. Doesn't sound good. Possibly a tactic to increase their female market?

    Agree,

The ad appeals to left activist women.

Perhaps they are after the pu**y market.

I cannot see men using their products again.

Gillette made this video purely for advertising purposes.
How do you feel about being manipulated just so Gillette ( Procter and Gamble) can make a buck.
DO NOT BUY GILLETTE (if your a real man!)

I thought left activist women had hairy armpits, so they wouldn't need razors. :D

Imagine the reaction if they said:

"Gillette - the best a woman can get"

It would go straight to pole position (with a slight left bias) on the outrage chart overnight.

Mrs (who is absolutely outraged) will no longer be buying any products at all from Procter and Gamble.

I'm surprised marketing teams come up with these types of campaigns. Fresh faced students straight out of Uni perhaps? Female dominant advertising team?

Can you clarify for me, what exactly is "the pu**y market" ?

    Really!
Looks like a fish bait question to me!

I don't care how they -- or anyone markets a product.
    If I need it
    Use it
    Am happy with it

    Ill buy it!

    Femmes for example.
    Don't need it.
My wife uses Gillette ---the best a man can get
because as she says if its the best a man can get I want it.
fair enough Pink or Blue razors--do the same.

    OK sweeties lather up!

Imagine the women who decide to buy Gilette razors for their partner, on the back of this commercial. There will be an internal struggle:
    a) they want to buy Gilette because they like their battle against "toxic masculinity", but b) they realise they are fulfilling a "gender stereotype" by doing their man's grocery shopping for them.

It's ham fisted and awkward and pretty piss poor typical of marketing but I don't get feel the outrage. I think it doesn't really address the issue properly or really provide solutions. It just appears to be a brand shift.

I just don't understand the fuss which Proctor and Gamble are probably glad to see. Why would your Mrs be so upset? Good if she got outraged about something useful like the this (as Jeff Kennett said): https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...12-fifth-indigenous-child-life-nine-days.html

Its director was Australia’s own Kim Gehrig, the artist behind 2015’s This Girl Can campaign.
