Announced overnight that Warren intends to make a bid.

I believe that Elizabeth Warren making a bid for the US Presidency in 2020 could be very interesting politically as well as possible economic effects. A very different candidate from the recent past, right back to Kennedy IMV.

I think shes a bit of a nut, 1% Indian blood and yet wants or at least did want to claim to be a native american..just looks silly.

Saw her speaking to the crowd this morning on the news, looked pretty impressive to me and not speaking in that shorthand look of the eye.

Yep, I've got a bit of Viking in me which is probably why I like trading, not that I'm as good as those forebears. Trump could claim a bit of that by the look of him.

1/1024th part Cherokee on a DNA test. Let's judge her on policies, but her exaggerated claim on native american heritage was not a good window into her character.

    Try this for character

"Senator Elizabeth Warren to Wells Fargo CEO Timothy Sloan: "At best you were incompetent, at worst you were complicit and either way you should be fired."

There are other potential candidates from the Dems I would be more interested in. Everything so far from the Indian bs, and that tragically wooden and creepy home video a few weeks ago, points to her being a total phoney.

In any case, the Dems need to purge the socialists.... AOC et al, before they can be viable.

The US could be ready for an entity reflecting the real Jesus, who walked the streets in bare feet to bless the poor and hand out bread.

Warren is a fighter, maybe a good Vice President but hasn't got the gravitus for President.
The Democrats have to stand for their principles and try to get things for the people that every other Libertarian nation already has, subsidized university fees, decent schools, infrastructure needs to be built, healthcare for everyone etc. The ridiculous situation where the wealthy pay less tax than the middle class needs to be reigned in.

I know it will be difficult as the USA doesn't have a true democracy anymore and has become a plutocracy. Gerrymandering is rife, the government passes laws to stop black and poor people voting etc., the polls are held on a working day and are so poorly staffed that you have to take the day off work to vote, dodgy deals going to the wealthy and being returned as money for Congressmen to get elected.

This will change if enough people realise they are being ripped off and actually vote (despite all the hindrances). The government is meant to be by the people for the people and hopefully it will return to this one day. I don't think it will be the next election. Things have got to get a loss worse for ordinary people before it gets better.

    Hang on.

A one off $900 cheque trashes our own treasury, and this guy purposes every person gets $1000 per *month.

    Rational?

    Sensible?

    Mon Dieu!!!

It sounds crazy on the surface. You need to a complete picture of how it works and what it means to judge.
