Oh dear me, I've had plenty of discussions with noco, but when he resorts to abuse (which is quite often) then any of us have a right to say so.

As for being 'subversive' by boycotting goods, we all have a right to spend our money how we like don't we ?

I'm not sure greeting a post with the insinuation of the poster being mentally ill is warranted given it was about a top echelon money investor supporting transparency in business and the poster revealing his open mindedness.

It goes to form and it's not like the insult was coming from a member who is known for brevity, which according to Shakespeare is the soul of wit........ if you get my drift:rolleyes:

So it is OK for you to abuse me with insults of ramping and raving and BS.
It is OK for Explod to say I talk rubbish.
It is OK for VES to talk about the dribble that comes out of my mouth.
It is OK for McLovin to refer to me as Hill Billy Dictator from Townwsville.
It is OK for Tisme to say I have lost my marbles.
But when the fan blows it back in your face, I then become the abuser.
    What a hypocrite you are.

With so many people giving their honest opinions of you, you should be glad for their advice.

No dictators in the city are there! Only in regional Australia.

When Noco is run out of this General Chat forum, I'll go with him/her (it's a PC world). Not that I imagine anyone in the inner-city bubble would care. Out of touch with real Australia.

The re-distributed funds run away from the US, as the Donald realized, to the benefit if US workers, and the environment

So the US was putting up $1Billion a year into the green fund.
    China $0
    Russia $0
    India $0
US also has been meeting its targets.
What are the other nations putting in?
I'm guessing this greenfund is based in Europe with hundreds of employees leaching off the money?

The reason why Elon Musk quit is because he has a vast business interest into renewables. So do all the other CEOs mouthing off.

Yes found the data I was looking for. Attached it (I think)
Like I said the media is full of bs or smoke and mirrors, fox doesn't disappoint either.
Was looking over the gcf page and they have some good projects in the pipeline. But.... Have they distributed money yet?
I clicked through a couple of projects said 0% distributed. Some from 2015. Are there projects that are completed?
Or are they still in the early stages.

How exactly does BHP have a business interest in renewables?
    http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-06-01/bhp-boss-tells-donald-trump-to-stay-in-paris-agreement/8581152

Perhaps he is taking the threat of global warming a lot more seriously than you and yet his company have a lot more to lose from a transition away from coal.

Pretty sure you can mine rare earth minerals. Bhp has been moving away from coal for a long time. Theres no money in it.
Wait didn't bhp destroy a town and a whole ecosystem somewhere. Yeah he's a regular "captain save a planet"

BHP are still heavily invested in coal, as far as I'm aware it's RIO that has been moving away from coal. Tell our government there is no money in coal who are hell bent on loaning $1 billion to the corrupt Adani for a coal mine no investors are interested in.
