When I dealt with Halifax many years ago it was really frightening. I'd love to say more, but this is the internet.

 

ASIC has had concerns about Halifax for years. Those interested can read the attached Enforceable Undertaking signed by Halifax on 3 April 2013, paying particular attention to the section ASIC's Concerns on pages 3 and 4.
