OK Crown are allowed to operate under distancing rules.
So why not have the same for sporting grandstands Every 2nd or 3rd seat active and every second row vacant. Hot Dogs and drinks only available by roaming sellers up and down vacant aisles. Shops closed.
Staggered entry.

Will allow clubs some income.

(sorry folks I originally placed this another thread but thought it equally appropriate in General chat too)

Why are they cancelling sport when people are still travelling cheek to jowl with strangers on public transport for work five days a week? Doesn't make any sense to me.

Just returned from taking the father in law for a follow up eye surgery at Lions Eye Institute. They had the entrance barricaded as you have entered into the building. They had a great procedure.
1 a generous spray of hand sanitiser
2 instructed you to ensure proper hand sanitising and asking questions have you bee overseas etc
3 Temperature gun at your head and telling you the temperature
4 Asked where you needed you go, and offered the best way there.
All done with a friendly smile, you were then allowed through, it took very little time.

I thanked them and said it was a great example of commitment to care.

After leaving I entered another health building on the way to car park. No procedure was set up, but I reckon it will catch on.
Maybe a procedure to enter trains, sports grandstands can be developed.

Liked the game last night. So quiet you could hear the umps explanation.
I reckon if someone whacks another behind the play you will hear it.

Someone yelled out support for one side and the commentators reckon it was a security guard.
A what?
A SECURITY guard???????
Err ...did someone forget to cancel that contract?
