GO THE DOCKERS. yeh
Gee Collingwood looked really good for the first 15 minutes. Really liked their tackling intensity.
.
Met him at the Caulfield races in 2007. We were on a Bucks Day so pretty messy. But he was friendly and even continued a conversation with us. He said "special" in his own way a few times after we encouraged him in our own way and he told us the Bombers wouldn't go very well. I can't say he was wrong with the benefit of hindsight.Yes the first 15 minutes, Bruce was getting really excited, talking in excited tones.lol
Then when Collingwood started getting a flogging, Bruce started talking stastistics.lol
What a #anker.

Seemed like a reasonable bloke.
I agree. And I find, that any interstate commentators that have been on the telecasts (especially Foxsports) have been much the same.I think they are all good blokes, just really hard for them to get excited about non Victorian teams.

We just have to face it, humans are inherently biased creatures. Hard not to be.![]()
As you may know Bruce is South Australian, but makes his money in Victoria-started off ,from memory,as a race caller. If anything his bias is to the Crows, but he does not reveal this with any conviction.
Maybe his time in Victoria has tainted him somewhat. But I do like his comprehensive commentary.Did you hear him mention that Hannath came from Angaston and CS Hayes-all SA stuff.
Go you mighty Cats. We've still got it![]()
Go Swans!
Yes indeed. The win against Freemantle was very satisfying. Hope they keep up that sort of form. Goodes and Tippett to return soon will boost their chances.

I suppose it had to happen sometime

I've been a Swan fan for many years, but i haven't kept up since their last GF. I really appreciate AFL though and look forward to catching a game in Brissy!
Agreed. the Cats/Hawthorn game was fantastic to watch.
I'll watch a competitive AFL game no matter who is playing, If Ablett was playing against Sydney, I'll still want the Swans to win but I'd be cheering for Ablett too.
