I like the idea of vertical farming and localised water-based power production

vertical farming is not restricted to location, more restricted to imagination and community demand and that demand is already underway and likely to speed up over the next few decades as we reclaim from horizontal farming and as competition for clean foods and the move back to whole-food-plant-based as we recognize the medical benefits of those foods

the small advantage of a warmer planet means greening with higher production of plant-based foods

warming has forced new cottage industries which are going to become eventual behemoths

    so.....what are the advantages ?

if you have a bug about the global warming, whether forced fashioned phased or a frame-work of the future, maybe put all that aside and think of the advantages, there's away an advantage to any perceived downside....

Certainly can see new opportunities as global warming takes off. Off the top of my head

    1) Buying up real estate in inland areas that might be the last to cook as the climate warms
    2) Buying up old ICBM silos and re jigging them for high value survivalists
    3) Setting up a private heavy duty security force to protect the property of high value survivors.
    4) Creating a really good multi player internet game to provide some distraction for a general population that doesn't like what it is seeing in the real world.
