2025 Full Year Stock Tipping Competiton

I was going to pass again doing this until I saw there was a prize for coming Last :)

A bunch of Hail Mary stocks for a fun 2025.

BRN - The year for Neuromorphic computing
VBTC - Trump/Saylor Effect and Strategic BTC Reserves popping up
IMU - One of these drug candidates might actually land
AXE - Quantum Computing

Good Luck to all players!
Yo @kenny you will have to replace IMU with another stock , as it did not make the grade as being above 10cents at the close of business of Friday.

@divs4ever, I couldn't figure out why you picked VAS for the competition under the new rules.

A good portion of the total return for an ASX300 tracking ETF is going to be dividends. Still, my picks might all be duds and you might end up looking pretty good with VAS.
the logic was VAS tracks to ASX 300 , and despite all the 'doom and gloom ' ( including from me ) i want to have a bet on a market melt-UP
( if it does i will be looking for sensible reductions in my actual holdings )

this year is a straight capital gains play ( and VAS is my 'safety play ' ie not trying to outperform a rising market , just keeping pace )

any divs will end up in the DRP ( and add a unit or two during the year )

PS i expect a lot of companies will be trimming divs this year , for one reason or another ( expansion plans , reducing debt , etc etc

Thanks for running the competition! Looking forward to the fun through the year!

My tips are:

DEL
AHC
PRO
MSB

And in case any of my choices are deemed unacceptable for some reason, I'll put in a reserve choice of
PPS

I did have to eliminate companies I wanted to choose because they didn't satisfy the 10c price requirement, but I think mine should be fine. I *think* I've managed to avoid choosing anything anyone else has chosen, at least so far, not that it's a requirement or in any way necessary, but it makes the game more interesting and I think it's a nice way to play so I made it a priority.

Please let me know if my choices fail to qualify.

And heres the new improved list.
Now with Houtman!

I don't mean to be picky Mallokintyre but my name is spelt GarpAl Gumnut. It is a family name passed down from one of Genghis Khan's cousins through the generations. .

It has been spelt as you wrote like that in the the past in some civilisations which are now disappeared. The Gumnuts survive.

We bear our name with pride.
