new here and quite new to trading.
I need to understand what the new regulations mean for a trader like me? Will I ever be able to trade with a 300:1 leverage while I’m an Australian resident?
are there exchanges that will still allow this?
In regards to trading US via an International Broker, what do I need to do in regards to conversion rates, tax and monitoring my trading performance?

4 retests of the 0.62000 level with price unable to hold it. The last two retests have formed interesting structure - two lower highs and two lower lows in a tighter range under a key psychological area of resistance.
I've never really looked into trading Forex but now I'm giving it considerable thought.
There's a million and one videos and articles on the web talking about forex trading.. Every second trader on the web claims to be trading forex. As I am clueless about this topic, would somebody be able to...
Guys, I have never traded Forex. I am a technical trader, so no big deal. However, there are several things I don't understand. For example, Oanda chart is showing current bar as 23:30, but it is close to 10 o'clock in Sydney. I don't want to bother people to explain mundane things to me (which...

How do forexers use sentiment, in the sense of retail sentiment (longs vs shorts on a currency pair)? Some say always best to have a contrary position - ie, if most retail holders are short a pair, it's best to go long, and vice versa. Reason being obvious - most retail forex traders lose.

In the spring a young trader's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of the fx markets.
(my apologies to Alfred Tennyson).
It's spring in Aust and the normally slumbering fx markets wake up and make a dash for the EOY. Not so this year. Pres Trump has kept the fx markets buzzing through the US...
I learnt a lot from forex websites-but actually wonder if anyone found trading on particular days gives more profit.
I noticed trading early in the week to be more successful than Thurs/Frid.?
Decided to go with forex easymarkets; they state that they ask compliance questions:
