I wonder whatever happened to "chicken" who started the ZFX thread back in 2004, when Zfx was $2.36, and proceeded to ramp the guts out of it. Probably lying on a beach in the Bahamas sipping a corn julep.
Funny to read some of the contrary responses way back then, probably due in part, to a reaction to chicken's un-restrained posting style. Despite the sore temptation, it isn't fair to dredge up one old post, but gee there are some beauties to view through the trusty old retrospectascope and it is a shame not to drag them out and dust them off.
A whole heap of them (there must be many) might be a different story than just picking one and risking hurting someone's feelings.
Maybe Joe could take a vote on whether this thread could be used as a "hall of fame" thread for great quotes that time and events have brought badly unstuck - a modern equivalent of the Roman slave who would crouch in the Ceasar's chariot and periodically remind him "you are not a God ...you are not a God..."
It is a shame to let such a glorious historical trove of comments languish unseen, except by stray ASF browsers.
If people were relaxed about it, it could be a laugh. Most likely people would drag out their own little gems.
