I was in Woolies supermarket today, it was fairly busy but extremely efficient. Mrs Gumnut has fled from the children for a holiday and this would be my last shopping for a while.
I noticed that the staff though having the normal repartee that 16 to 30 yo by and large would have, seemed focussed on their task, and customer service. The lady at the checkout was in her 50's and said she really enjoyed the part time hours and the extra income for her family.
It was a happy shop and the customers, most of them I imagined would return.
I enjoy buying in chaos, so put a phone order in with Commsec for my super fund for an extra 1000 wow at approx 26.80-90, as I loaded my groceries in the car ($206 worth !!.... the groceries).
Has anyone else had this experience when you see a company running well and want to have a greater part of it?
The charts seem a bit wavering for WOW but I couldn't help myself.
