I have been playing with the market since May this year (great time to enter!)
After reading many books and posts of this wonderful forum, I have started to devise my own trading strategy and system.
The idea is to alleviate the emotion - fear and greed, and also to assist in profit making.
I have finally got my system to start producing some good paper trades, so I decided to lay my money on the table and follow its advice.
My first "system guided" trade went successfully. The stock was purchase at $0.20 and headed quicky towards $0.215. I was sitting on 7.5%. My system was yelling at me that I was way above my exit point of 5%.
But, it moved so fast upwards I focused on the money and thought maybe $0.22 (or more?). By the end of the day, the stock was down at $0.18 and I walked away with a 10% loss. Greed killed me. Or was it the fear of exiting too early and loosing out of possible profits?
I have a certain anxiety and scardness of loosing my capital, which may be holding me back.
How did you guys survive your infancy in trading?
