Apparently this agreement will soon be signed. It will be retrospective so as to allow for the Bali Nine (minus the two with the death sentence) and Schapelle Corby to be repatriated to Australian prisons.
Apparently Schapelle isn't keen on the idea! She thinks she's better off under Indonesian conditions where she can receive more visitors and feels life is generally easier than it would be in an Australian jail.
I was astonished to hear this. Am I alone in thinking that surely most of these prisoners would rather be back in their own country? Perhaps conditions over there aren't nearly as bad we we have imagined?
