    Post Most stable market

Today one of my friends told me that Indian market is one of the stable market as per performance analysis for last 10 years. I don't know why he said like that, I need to know more about it from your experience

If you want a stable market, then just leave your money in an interest-bearing bank account.

Volatility is what separates the winners and losers.
Heading for early retirement thanks to all the high Sharpe Ratio chasers

In my opinion, the only stable market is a dead market. Anything less than dead is liable to spring surprises in the face of future uncertainty.

But once completely dead its future becomes certain and hence most stable!

Looking back is the general practice. That is fine if the past continues into the future and you invested on that assumption.
