There seems to be a fuss about the NAPLAN tests, a lot of people saying they are too hard, or the kids are being taught how to pass tests rather than acquiring learning and job skills. Some kids seem to be a ball of nerves having to sit them.
When I went to school, there was no such thing as NAPLAN. We had the School Certificate and Higher School Certificate, and trial exams leading up to those.
So I was wondering, what is NAPLAN suppose to reveal that the results of the School and Higher School Certificates (or whatever they are called now), don't , and therefore is NAPLAN necessary ?
