Recently a local entity announced on TV News
(a very powerful medium) that it was under receivership.
Most likely scenario was layoffs and bankruptcy.
So I trot to the local Drake supermarket.
The shelf is empty.
I asked an assistant about it.
He advises me that 6 cartons come in each morning.
If I am early I can get some.
Weeks go by until I see them.
My favourite “Sweet Mustard Pickles”!
I grab three jars – I love this stuff.
It was on special, God knows why?
Then I see something I had not noticed before.
“Sweet Chilli Sauce”!
I grabbed a jar and took it home.
I compared it to my favourite Authentic Thai sauce.
They were equally good in all respects except unit price.
The question now haunts me.
Should I pay twice as much for the local product?
