I have noticed recently a disturbing new level of road rage, where people actually seek it out.
I can understand being cut off in your own lane and muttering a swear word here and there, but there seems to be a new 'level' I haven't seen before.
A few times now, I have seen the occasion where a car is crossing the intersection, and due to the amount of traffic in front of him, his car doesn't actually quite make it into the area after the intersection, therefore blocking the path of pedestrians and traffic coming from a perpendicular direction.
The first car coming from the perpendicular direction will then race towards the car blocking his path and continuously and furiously beep his horn, instead of, say, just going around him. He will keep beeping his horn even though the car blocking his path really has nowhere to go.
It's almost as if this driver is waiting for his own light to turn green, so then he quickly races up and says "aha! I've got you now! You're in the wrong, and I'm going to let everyone know about it!!! BEEEEEEEEEP!!!"
The latest one I saw was about a week ago, and everr bystander was just watching the beeping car and shaking their heads.
So, do you think we have reached a new level of road rage?
