    Default Online Competitions

    Hello ASF'ers

There was a story on the radio the other day about people who are professional online competition enterers. They interviewed a woman who claimed to win a minimum of $50k a year average in prizes.
Does anyone else here participate in such things or know of a good website?
Is this a credible career opportunity for some?
It can get awfully dreary looking at the screen all day waiting for things to tick over.
Maybe you have some stories of winnings in such competitions?
My opinions are just that, MY opinions, NOT yours. Get your own damn opinions.

I also saw a story on this last year with the guy interviewed making something like 70k a year (i'm not sure how much of that was cash though). I would just do some general googling and im sure you'll find dedicated sites. Be careful though and evaluate the risk to reward value of each competition. I won an ipod touch when I was in year 12, that is it though .

I think the general gist of it was it can provide a lucrative almost 'second income'. Good for housewives who sit around all day on their can, seeing as none of them can wash, iron, cook, vaccuum or mop the floor anymore, might aswell contribute something to the household..... and society even.

I assume you do it 7 days a week. How long she say she spent each day doing it. Sounds terrible sitting there on the computer doing that.

Actually i do SFA doing it, so you assume wrong, our family business is an orchard, so no time for can sitting in my line of work. Just heard the subject on talkback and thought i would canvas it. No recollection of the exact time she invested, but it was apparent it required some dedication. I agree, not the best investment of time.
