The case of Peter Spencer who has entered his 47th day on hunger strike, claiming that the Australian Government has breached the Constitution in respect to his desire to clear his land.
His brother, Graham Spencer has today told The Australian that there is more to the story than meets the eye. Apparently, he owes a family member a million dollars and there was some movement by the family to take possession of the farm.
The muck-raking and unfair part of the story is that he was involved in a siege-like dispute some forty years ago with the police. No sure how that is relevant to this story - or why the journalist thought it was relevant??
