Harvey Norman profits plunge 56pc
Retailer Harvey Norman has posted a large fall in half-year profits.
The company has announced a profit of about $99 million for the six months to December, a 56.8 per cent drop from the $230 million announced for the same time last year.
But retail sales grew 2.7 per cent to $2.6 billion.
At 11.45am AEDT, Harvey Norman shares were down 2 per cent at $1.89 a share.
