Has anyone picked up on this latest PETA campaign? They are trying to get fish renamed as 'sea kittens', the idea being that people will not want to eat a 'sea kitten'.
Here is the logic for the radical name change:
'Would people think twice about ordering fish sticks if they were called sea kitten sticks? Would sea kitten soufflé be a hot seller at the local seafood restaurant? Does fillet o' sea kitten sound even remotely appetizing? Learn more about the new campaign to save fish by changing their name.'
So c'mon folks - stop hurting those cuddly little 'sea kittens' with your Inqusitorial hooks, lines and sinkers. Remember that 'sea kittens' have feelings too.
What a load of tripe. The depletion of our fishing stocks is a serious issue but 'Mickey Mouse' does not stop people from using rat poison. Gimme a break.
