Hear me speak in Sydney
I have been doing a lot less speaking around the country this year on medical advice. However, I am about to
make one presentation in Sydney at the Trading and Investing Seminars and Expo for the
Association (AIA). AIA members may come at a reduced rate (details at the link in the previous sentence). Anyone
else may come subject only to the entry fee of $65. This may sound a lot, but the whole session will be devoted
to teaching you my methods of market timing. I do not sell anything except my writing, so there will be no
marketing to sit through from me or anyone else.
On top of that, I can save you the $18 cost of entry to the Expo: Click on this link that will take you to the
ticketing section of the event website and when asked to enter the Promotional Code NICHOLSON simply type in
this word and you will be provided with a free Expo ticket saving you $18.

Ride the bull, hide from the bear
Colin has successfully timed the Australian stock market through 45 years of investing. In this presentation, he
will show how he has been able to do it. The methods he uses for market timing will be demonstrated using his
own current analysis of the Australian stock market as an example.
Most inexperienced private investors tend to wait too long to get into bull markets and are then devastated in
the ensuing bear market. The bull and bear market cycle has always been with us and always will. Experienced
and professional investors have learned to invest in exactly the opposite way to the inexperienced investors.
Their secret is to be early on the scene as each bear market is finishing and the ensuing bull market is beginning.
The more important part is to start leaving the scene as the bull market becomes wild and be out no later than
the start of the following bear market. This requires discipline, which comes from the knowledge Colin will impart
in this presentation.
In this presentation, Colin will explain the three tools that he uses to time the market. He will do this in the form
of a case study of the Australian stock market from 2009 to date. He will show how his three tools mesh together
and take you though it step-by-step showing exactly what the triggers for action he was seeing and when he saw
them. This material and this practical demonstration of the method will open your eyes to what the good
investors do and how they do it. Next time, you will know what to do, when all around you have forgotten, or
never learned, that stock markets are cyclical.
Colin will make his slides available to attendees for later review. Colin will answer questions afterwards.
