Watching Robert Mugabe at the African Union summit this week leaves me with little hope for the future of Africa.

Thabo Mbeki should have been pivotal in relieving the poor sods of Zimbabwe from their present fate under RM.

Instead he sat by and watched as the other black African states by and large endorsed the handing of the Zim people into the Middle Passage.

The Arabs could only just conceal their joy and endorse the farce.

History does repeat itself.

Poor bloody Africans, let down by their chiefs centuries ago and sold to the Brits, Spanish and Portugese, via the Arabs, and now their wealth being sold to who knows who in the vacuum that is their inheritence.

Perhaps they are incapable of governing themselves.

Lets hope the Chinese won't be as cruel to them as the Europeans were.
