2004 Returns

Hi everyone,

Just interested to know if people are willing to share the info...

1) what returns did you make in 2004 (investments)
2) what did you invest in? (ie Aussie market, international, property etc)

This kind of goes hand in hand with the 2005 post but im keen to see what people have achieved.

a) I made a return of 42% in 2004 (I didn;t make many trades though, only bought 9 stocks and sold 2)
b) I dont know a whole lot about the share market really so I only delved into the ASX, however it seemed to work :)

All in shares, thanks to ION, I only made 23%. Interestingly, my portfolio is up 5% in the first 5 weeks of 2005, which is a top start.

It seems this year has started off well. Due to a few tips I've acted on from this forum I'm up 6.2% so far... my goal of 15% isn't too far off (fingers crossed the bull keeps running) :)
