Hi all
A friend of mine was working in a company and got a few thousand shares. He's now no longer interested in shares and wants to sell them all. how can he sell those shares(market price is under $1 per share so only worth a few grands all together)?

find a broker? maybe they won't even be interested.
online brokers like Optionsxpress?

any help appreciated

The cheapest way would be to open an account with an internet broker (say Comsec) and transfer the shares from Issuer Sponsored to Chess Sponsored..... that way the broker fee would be small. But if you are just after the $$, someone like Computershare will do it for you quite quickly.

Computershare is how I did the same thing. Simply registered and transferred to etrade then sold.
