Calculating EPS

Can anyone help me with this? Is EPS calculated from NPAT or EBITDA or something else?

Tony,

I always calculated EPS from EBITDA excluding abnormals - for longer tern positions I like to have an idea of future eps for at least the next reporting year.

Perhaps someone has more authoritarian definition
