Hi folks,

After our good luck in picking last year's trifecta,
some traders have asked for our astroanalysis on
the runners, in today's event:

8 - Activation NZ

10 - Mahtoum - Aus

14 - Dizelle - Aus

17 - Zabeat - NZ

21 - Mandela - NZ

=====

Outsiders:

4 - Tawqeet - USA

7 - Short Pause - GB

good luck

Hi folks,=====Outsiders:
7 - Short Pause - GB
good luck, yogi, :) =====

The missus got it in a sweep lol. So I checked its form out :-
Odds for Short Pause were around 300 to 1 lol.

http://www.sportal.com.au/horseracing.asp?i=news&id=90741

"7. Short Pause (David Hayes) Noel Callow (17) 53.5
Probably lucky to get into the Cup field. Best run this campaign was a third to Maybe Better at Moonee Valley in September but you can't run last in a Metrop and 17th in a Caulfield Cup to be a serious hope."

Sounds like a SURE THING in these uncertain times ;)
_____
Anti ramping disclaimer. I am not an owner of Short Pause, nor any horse. Would barely recognise a horse if I fell over one. Just have kids that eat like one. - - maybe I should put it this way - anyone who treats this as a serious tip, well.... lol DYOR as they say ;)

PS I know a bloke who worked in a casino who knew a bloke who used to (somehow?) bet against the favourite winning. and he allegedly used to clean up. - lol - only to lose it at the casino that night - hence he knew the first bloke who ... ahh shuddup.

Opps your right.

Efficient scratched Tawqeet in.

On a Juene is to me the outstanding runner.
set for this and way down on the weight its been pulling around all year.
Another 30meters and it would have run down the diva last year.

But Hey Im a mug punter

On a Juene for me too... Second last year, same stables as the diva, for a once a year punter like me, it will do.

Maybe Better's run in the SAAB on Saturday was outstanding.

Consider this - he drops 7kgs today, only been unplaced 3 of 13 starts and the furtherest he has finished behind the winner in any of his races was 4.7 lengths.

Winners going into the Cup have had a terrific record over the past 15 years.

bloke down the road reckons only way Short Pause is gonna win a race is in the belly of some greyhound.
.. the good news is that the sweep my wife is in also pays for last place ;)
- every bludy year this happens - everyone shouting how they picked the winner!!!!

- and me crouched down at the tv trying to listen to who came last so that I can get my money back on the sweep, lol

Yeah I thought so to. Considering the "outsider" of the trio won - imagine if Pop Rock got up.

Must have been a heaps of trifectas based on Pop Rock.

I was jipped ! - they cancelled the prize for last horse!! and awarded the "money back" prize to Efficient - who the girls who ran the syndicate forget was scratched - probably a pretty fair call.;)
