Hi ZeeZee, Stock Scan (http://www.aussiestockforums.com/forums/sponsors/stockscan) have just come on board as an ASF sponsor. Essentially they offer a sophisticated ASX market scanning service that scans for stocks according to criteria that you specify and then emails you the results. Although please note that it is web based and not a download. They have both a free and PRO option.

Sounds like a good service:
How Does It Work?
StockScan (http://www.aussiestockforums.com/forums/sponsors/stockscan) is a web-based stock scanning utility. As a member, you can setup what scan(s) you wish to run at the end of each trading day.
StockScan (http://www.aussiestockforums.com/forums/sponsors/stockscan) will automatically scan the ASX for you, notifying you by email of any stocks that match the criteria for your scans.
For example, a simple scan may be:
Show me all the stocks in the minerals sector where the number of shares traded is over 2% of the total shares on issue for that company and where the price has increased at least 5%
OR
Show me all the stocks where the 7 Day SMA Crosses and Goes Above the 21 Day SMA and the Volume for the last three trading days is greater than the Average Volume of the last 30 Days.
You can be as vauge or specific as you want to be! You can trade YOUR way.
The results of these scan appear in your email inbox at the end of each trading day to ensure you never miss out on a trade that may interest you.
StockScan also offers Direct Simulation backtesting, backtesting reports, stock and watchlist monitoring and more.
Personally I prefer eyeballing charts... but I think the IncredibleCharts scanner could suffice.

I just subscribed to StockScan the other day. Every morning i get my scans on the previous days action. I'm still not crazy about having to pay a subscription, but i'll give it a try for a month or so. Their tech support is excellent.
I'm not in a position to want to purchase and install allot of tech/a software on my laptop, so i thought this would be a good option until i settle somewhere and have a desk top PC to load up.
Cheers

Hi, Mr. Happy.
Does your software work interactively intra day like IB's scanner does? I like to trade the US big movers but the time zone is unhealthy for me. Cheers.

Hi, Hopeful,
It was my plan to eventually include most big stock market in the world into my scope of scanning, and of course, interactively intra day will be nice to have too.
However the progress is a bit slow due to various reasons. Please keep tuning in for the latest developements.
Cheers,

Hi all,
I have a question regarding stock screener software.
Is there a software where you can set up the time and it will automatically screen the indicators?
