View Full Version : CMC Markets spamming my inbox

I hate to say it but CMC Markets have been spamming my inbox for the past week even though I'm already a client of theirs.

They have their own company emails, then their promo emails coming from all the other email lists that I'm subscribed to... ARGH! Can they please stop it with their "free how to trade seminar" promos!

They're also promoting their "# 2 day Profit Strategies course valued at $3995 FREE" Which I think is a load of bull. For one thing, that course cannot be worth that much as I attended and I thought it was a load of hype. And at the end o it - as with all free seminars, they make an offer to you to buy their special software at a bargain basement "today only" price. The special software allows you to trade their trading system involving Elliot waves that they taught you over the two days - and they don't tell you this at the beginning either.

Sorry about this flame of a forum post. I'm just frustrated with them. :banghead:

Yeah I'm thinking of switching to Macquarie or IG Markets...

I use them because I simply went with the crowd. + they have easy to use software...

TraderPro,

Have a look at First Prudential markets as well.

I'm busy getting setup with fpmarkets (First Prudential). They seem pretty cheap, and I was emailed and called by an FP consultant the morning after I applied for an account. They seem pretty jacked so far. Of course, I'll have to see how their platforms actually perform.

Trader im with them and have had no issues so far. If you dont want emails just block them (simple). As for the seminar its free so what do you expect? (who cares how much they say its worth). If your not happy with them then simply change (its that easy ;) )

I dont hold positions overnight so using a MM isnt a real concern. And i have had no troubles opening and closing my positions (sometimes upto 10 trades a day). I like them simply because of their software and their tight spreads.

Whatever works i reckon...........
