A few basic questions:
1. Is the "buy price" the highest or lowest price purchasers are willing to pay for a stock ?

2. Is the "sell price" the highest / lowest price sellers are willing to sell for ?

3. What is the difference between closing price and last price ?

Thanks,

Zap

Not sure exactly what you mean by "buy" and "sell" prices, but if you're referring to the bid and offer values shown in the market depth, then the highest bid is the highest price a purchaser is offering to buy the shares for, while the lowest offer is the lowest price a seller is offering to sell the shares for. Note though that there may be other buyers willing to pay more, or other sellers willing to sell for less, who have chosen not to display their offers to the market for some reason.

Closing price is the price of a stock at the end of a trading day. Last price is just the last price at which a trade took place during the day. After hours, the two should be the same.
