..... the "the Apprentice" and become "a Trump employee"?
and would you ever want to be "a Trump employee"?
Me, I want Bill to win! Very level headed and relates well to people. Comfortable in his own skin.

I actually want Troy to win, but after watching the show yesterday night and found that I actually pick his friend to go with him then I don't want him to win, but he's gone now.
My second picked is NICK because he is there not just to win the apprentice, but to win the girl (Amy) as well.

Well I'm just glad i don't live that lifestyle.
When apprentice is on, I'm sitting here trading the US markets from my home in the Perth hills, fire crackling, dog at my feet, chatting with my wife.
It's a great show in that it reinforces the reasons that I do what i do.
Cheers

Wayne,
I would love to be in your situation right now. I am working toward it everyday.

Yeah wayne...thats my dream job, I traded aussie stocks and derivatives for 18 months from home, but decided to go to uni to become an accountant. I certainly hope to get back into it later down the track.
All the best with your trading.

BTW, I would like to see quamie (sp?) win because he is a wall street lad.
I just wish they would show more of Trumps Mrs.

I did enjoy Troys kinda country approach to those nosy NY business ppl while doin tasks. But yeah I think his time was over.
Quami (??) and Nick are both pretty good but Nick would be me pick.
Btw seeing what a man like Trump has achieved is hell of a motivation for me

I like how they have put the show together.
They are given these seemingly weird tasks but they really do reveal a lot each contestant's leadership style, approach to completing a task, motivation and ability to work with others.
Every now and then Trump gives pearls of wisdom... never anything startling but isn't that what it is all about?
eg1. > "to be good at something you've really got to enjoy what it is your trying to do"
eg2. > "you've got to believe in what you are trying to do in order to convince others to do the same / to do what it is you want them to do"
Business and common sense are a very potent combination.

Who is the current Trump Mrs?

Why is that damn Amorosi killin Quamie's chance... grrr... It frustrates me when incompetent people put the blame on other people!!

7th-August-2004, 03:08 PM
Amorosa almost behaves like if she was doing it on purpose...perhaps on Donald's team instructions to put finalists under a bit more presure? She was not this bad before was she?
Anyway now I am tipping Bill to win this thing. I went with Nick before so not really good in TV show tipping:)
Btw I am wondering if Trump will really employ only the winner. And now with bringing the previous contestants back...who knows? Cause honestly it seems like Trump does need some young blood to his organization eh? Did you notice the average ages of his executives? They dont seem too young to me.
Yeah I got bit carried away here with another "great" reality TV. Back to my shares now ;)

I think you are right jkool. I think that Trump has set the last to up to really see how they perform under pressure and manage incompetent staff.
I just loved the older female executive. She looked like she was from the Marfia! Those big glasses... ;D

I think the better man won... as Trump said, Kwame didnt handle the Amorosa incident well and thats where he fell short... The ending was a bit of a let down IMO. Anyways they should have showed more of Jessica Simpson and Mrs Trump... :P
Cheers,

Would you have chosen the International Hotel development or the Golf Course management as the job you won?

For me I will choose International Hotel development because it's a lot of learning potential.
Golf? I don't think so.

The golf course looked like it was already half finished...Bill made the right choice. I think in the next series Trumps Mrs should replace Caroline...not george, hes the man.

Yeh! Bill won. I am so happy that he did. He was definitely the right man for the job.
He was so consistent throughout the show.
If I had been on the show and won the "apprenticeship" I would have definitely gone for the hotel.
There are not too many other 'junior' executives who can say that have co-managed a US$700 million project!
What an opportunity.

I heard that
Amy (who flirted big time with Nick on the show) is now going out with Bill!
kwame is earning a min of US$25,000/wk via KFC endorsemenst.
jkool
15th-August-2004, 01:53 AM
yeah Bill was the better of the two on the end I suppose. Also I, if given that opportunity, would choose Chicago and International Hotel. If only for bigger learning potential and also for Chicago, which is huge business centre perhaps second only to NY. Definitely place to be for doing business. Of course LA (is that where the golf course was?) is not bad at all but for the given purpose of business i think Chicago is the place to be.
Anyways anybody watched The Panel on Wed night? Apparently Trump Casinos are failing for bankcrupcy. So is Donald Trump really THE MAN to work for? Just a thought, I only welcome some more insight to Trump Organization........what a name too ;D

I read that amaroso purposefully acted like a biatch so that she would become noticed and stand out from the others...rumour is that she is now launching her own clothing line

Nothing would surprise me. She was also so "overdone". So OTT.

Trump is a real business man though. Did you notice how he greatly marketed (on the show) everything which involved his company? Of course its understandable but the man still gets paid for it!
And once showed finished now his new book is out with lighting speed and today....and that really got me bad....i went to the post office and what did I see sitting on the shelf there? A game for PS2 with theme around Trump - the Real Estate Tycoon. WOW...learn from the master...
