Hi Nathan,
You're about to make your first mistake. You can't seriously come to this place and ask if we would buy virgin blue shares or a stock called ppp.

You will have to find out for yourself why you would or wouldn't buy virgin blue, based on what you are trying to achieve.

I assume somebody threw PPP at you as a stock tip somewhere and now you want to know if it's worth investing. In other words you know nothing about it other than the ticker symbol.

I'm affraid this isn't going to be enough to go anywhere. You will suffer big time if you are trying to make money this way. There are a lot of people on this board who are keen to support newbies whenever they can. But don't throw up questions like that.

I suggest you do some reading about PPP. Maybe finding out what the company's full name is and what they do would be a start. Then you will have to find out the current price, it's history and what these guys are up to in the near future.
After that you can come back here and ask the question in a different way. It may sound like:
"I did some reading on PPP (PAN PACIFIC PETROLEUM) and based on my research I consider them a buy. They have some interesting projects going on in xxxx and the share price has dropped over the last 2 weeks, making it an interesting investment for a few months. If their drilling results are a success, then the share price could easily reach $100 based on the capacity of their oil field.
I would appreciate your comments."

This is the only way you will get help. First you need to do some work yourself. Once you have an oppinion you can ask others here and they will be glad to help.

The same goes for Virgin Blue...

Happy trading

Stefan
