I have recently acquired Amibroker (in addition to MetaStock) and hope to contribute to the development of our mechanical trading system. Unfortunately, I do not have data prior to January this year.

Is anyone able to provide me with back-data, for as many years as possible, but atleast 5? Preferably by FTP.

Thanks in Advance!

Doc, try float.com.au (amibroker friendly)

here are some websites I have come across that can provide history data of various lengths. Just remember these will be raw unadjusted data

ftp://samsons.com.au/pub/asx_historical_data/
http://www.float.com.au/scgi-bin/prod/dl.cgi
http://www.investorweb.com.au/

As mentioned above, float.com.au is good value,

there are few holes in their data though, I've used the data from comsec to fix the holes in individual stocks (of course you have to have an account with them).

Rod.
