Interested in foreign stocks

Hey all,

I'm interested in investing in foreign stocks. I want to start start off with only $1000 to invest - really want to keep this low risk.

Where could i begin to do my research ? is it even possible to begin with only $ 1000 ?

Checkout ETF's - exchange traded funds. Simple and low risk way to diversify into overseas investments. You buy/sell just like any other stock on the ASX.

I'm thinking about buying some BRIC (ASX:IBK)
