Firefox is my default browser (no spyware or popups) but lately I've had to go back to using IE with Etrade because when I use Firefox I get a "THIS PAGE HAS BEEN MOVED" error all the time as I navigate around the site.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Joe I use netscape as default (and have used firefox)
It seems there are a lot of "professional" website developers who have never heard of these browsers.
There are just certain websites that won't display properly on anything but ie
I can't help you with your particular problem, but just thought I'd insert a whinge about it all seeing as you've touched on this subject.

An while we're on it, let me voice my hatred of MS for their bastardisation of HTML and making it mainstream.

Joe,
Hang in there with Firefox, it is truely the way to go. I run IE as well but not as my default browser. I have had a couple of problems running it on certain sites but it has never really been a problem as these are usually non professional sites. Commsec, ASX, SMH and Aussiestock all work fine and the multitab function makes using several sites at once a breeze.
I was only IE until a friend recommended I try it. Now I won't go back.
Cheers

Joe, I use IE for E*Trade as well because of the problems I encounter using FF. Seems a bit strange that such a website hasn't got compatibility with one of the best browsers out there.

Try using Maxthon from www.maxthon.com
It's in-between IE & FF and has a lot of nice features, very quick.

After using Firefox always Firefox
It might seem ridiculous but Firefox does not let itself update automaticaly.
I think I found 3 new versions within the last 60 days.
It doesn`t matter with what version you initially install. Important is that you update then after from your menu.
What I have noted then after is that it would be convenient to check on eventual attachments like " java" that won`t be installed by the original installment. Under your Bookmark: there is a File already preinstalled where you can check on . See mainpage from Firefox.
By Firefox I am not only able to block pop-ups and pubblicity but also control my privacy.
With a bit of patience you can adjust that as well.
Hope was helpful and have fun.
PS: Don`t want to make any pubblicity but the best spy-program till now that I have encountered is: Ad Aware
Virus program: Zonealarm
