What does the "number" column in market depth mean?

Same thing in different text...

Number of buyers that make up that quantity of shares to be bought at that price ;) (I hope, thats what I always thought it was)

Yep, I believe it is the number of orders at that amount. eg the 7500 shares at second place are made up of two orders.
